Big D Cycle Race Bikes

Big D Cycle sets two records during Speed Week at the Bonneville Salt Flats (Aug 11-17).

Wednesday afternoon Dennis Tackett on 607, a Triumph 650cc vertical twin in the pushrod class ran 114.92 mph.  Thursday morning he ran 112.08 for a new class record of 113.5 mph.  607 is a joint project between Keith Martin and Ed Mabry of Mabry RacingCheck out the bike.

On Monday Craig Murray ran 142.937 mph on 728B, a Triumph T-140 powered, methanol fuel injected racer built by Keith Martin, owner of Big D cycle.  Tuesday morning he backed it up with a speed of 136.707 for a new record of 139.822 mph.  Check out the bike.
