Big D Cycle has been selling and servicing British motorcycles since 1963. We take pride in keeping old bikes in circulation, and we sell motorcycles worldwide. We can make your bike available to a wider audience than Craigslist, and present it professionally on the web. Our selection of bikes for sale on this website gets around 500 hits a week consistently. Last year we sold and shipped over 50 motorcycles through Ebay. We have been selling on Ebay since 2001, and we are rated as a top seller. Our motorcycle listings are always the first results from an Ebay search. These high ratings and good selling history make buyers more comfortable when purchasing a bike on the web. We can list your bike worldwide, and handle all the shipping and packing arrangements; all you have to do is get the bike to us.

What we are looking for

Matching numbers bikes that are mostly original, and have titles.

Examples:

-1983 and older Triumph twins
-Triumph triples
-Norton Twins
-BSA Triples

What we ARE NOT looking for

-Single cylinder Triumphs and BSAs.

They do not have good resale value, and often are plagued with problems.

- Choppers, bobbers, “customs”, rat bikes, board trackers, etc.

There is a large market out there for these types of bikes, but it is not the market we are in. These bikes are often more form than function, and there are hundreds of others for sale just like them.  We are not interested in taking in a chopper or bobber in on consignment.

We can take your bike in on consignment and feature it on our website; our commission rate is 15%. We can service the bike to make it run and ride if necessary, and then deduct the service costs from your percentage of the sale. Having a video of the bike running and riding greatly increases its value online, and builds buyer confidence in the bike. We have a high quality Nikon DSLR camera to photograph your motorcycle. We have lots of experience in fully displaying a motorcycles condition through photographs. We know what the buyer wants to see!

We can also list your bike for sale on EBay, and handle all buyer questions, paper work, packing, and shipping.  We charge our normal 15% commission, plus any service expenses, and the EBay listing fees. Ebay listing fees are usually 50-60 dollars per motorcycle.

We may also buy your bike directly from you, if the price is right.
